On Saturday afternoon, Cary and I boarded a bus for a half day tour of the two main lakes.
Our driver was Tony. He was so fun, and very knowledgeable of the history of both lakes!
First stop was Lake Louise. It was beautiful for sure, but way too crowded! Cary and I walked around the lake to take pictures and then found our way to the hotel bar! It was away from the crowds so we could really enjoy the views. The hotel is spectacular in itself!
Lake Moraine was less crowded, thank goodness! We hiked to the top and the views are just amazing! There were different colors in the water, but the blue hue towards the one end was just stunning! We hit up the gift shop and got some snacks. As we walked around the edge of the lake, we saw a bride having photos taken up on the viewpoint. It was cool to watch, those two will have some epic wedding photos!
After the tour was over, it was time to find dinner. We headed to the Canadian Brewhouse. We had a great server, the food was delicious, (forgot take a photo of the food), and had yummy drinks!
